Goodbye Maurice Sendak

Today we have lost the famous children's author, Maurice Sendak, at age 83.

Sendak is most noted for his children's book "Where the Wild Things Are," written in 1963, and for which he won the coveted Caldecott Medal, and sold about 17 million copies.
